The overall form for this fluted maple bowl has been turned on the lathe, while the decorative fluting around the exterior has been carved by hand. The carving leaves a textured finish, giving the bowl a tactile quality that makes it a pleasure to hold. Made of durable hard maple it will provide years of use. It has been coated with a food safe mixture of beeswax and oil.
